Benjamin P. Foster, Ph.D., CPA, CMA, is a Professor of Accountancy at the University of Louisville, where he has taught for more than 30 years. He received his Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Tennessee, an M.B.A. from Murray State University, and a B.A. in accounting from Kentucky Wesleyan College. Ben is the President of the Kentucky Association of Scholars. He has published in a wide variety of professional and academic accounting journals, served as vice president and controller of a small business, and has work experience with local CPA firms.
