Dr. Carole Hooven, a distinguished human evolutionary biologist, award-winning educator, and author, holds a PhD in Biological Anthropology from Harvard University. She serves as a nonresident senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, focusing on sex and gender issues, health, psychology, and academic freedom. An associate in Harvard’s Department of Psychology, she advocates for evidence-based policies concerning sex and gender. Dr. Hooven authored "T: The Story of Testosterone, the Hormone That Dominates and Divides Us" and is currently working on a new book. Despite retiring from her teaching role at Harvard in January '23 due to lack of support for her scientific views, she remains dedicated to her research on behavioral endocrinology and promoting free speech.
